A Path of Profession, Passion, and Philosophy
The logo spells my surname "Lee" using a Baybayin glyph, an ancient script of my ancestors, symbolizing the past. It also represents a path winding into the mountainous horizon guided by the light of the sky, symbolizing the future. And lastly, it also a depicts my ideal scenery, a beach with the four states of matter: Liquid sea on the bottom-left, solid land on the bottom-right, gaseous sky up above, and the plasma sun in the middle; symbolizing the various states of the present.
The past, present, and future all shape my journey and worldview, which I think of in three distinct paradigms: Profession, Passion, and Philosophy.
Profession refers to a paradigm that values progress, where we take a finite set of skills and develop them to a point of utility and fulfillment. Passion refers to a paradigm that values artistic expression, where we participate in the act of creation and recreation. Philosophy refers to a paradigm of wisdom and wonder, where we ponder both the known and unknown.
These are reflected in this website and all together embody what I have collectively named the LEEWAY PARADIGMS.
